SERVE in the community, putting hands to work beyond Zion’s walls.

Participants are invited to sign up for one project from a long list of short-term service options, usually 1-3 hours in length. Projects include a chance to dig in to clean, fix, organize, and cook here at Zion, but we’ll also expand to the local communities and other projects within Wright County.

Allina Health recognizes good health habits start early. This spring, Allina Health is again partnering with Free Bikes 4 Kidz, a non-profit organization geared toward helping all kids ride into a healthier, happier childhood by providing bikes to those most in need.
  • Bikes will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. Bikes are not guaranteed for all.
  • Child(ren) must be present to receive a bike.
  • We will have bikes of all sizes, from toddler through teenager.
  • A parent or guardian must be present to sign a waiver.

SERVE Weekend

The Blessing Closet ministry is called to touch lives and demonstrate God’s love in a practical way by loving all people, illustrating the gift of giving, sharing the good news, welcoming those who seek, and serving others. This is one of many gap ministries in the Buffalo community that work in cooperation with Love INC-Big Woods, and involves many Zion members in being ‘the hands and feet of Jesus’ in our community.

This ministry collects, sorts, and distributes new and slightly used clothes, free of charge, to kids and their parents who are in need of help.  Everyone is welcome … no questions, requirements or limits.
