Handbell Choirs

Zion offers Handbell choirs for grades 4-5, grades 6-8, and grade 9 to adult.

Ring Forth

These young musicians learn the basic skills of handbells as they learn hymns and songs to use in worship.

  • Grades 4-5
  • It’s not necessary to know how to read music. We’ll learn as we ring together, but the more you know about notes and rhythms from music classes at school and music lessons, the quicker we can move to more challenging music.
  • Rehearsals are Wednesdays during the school year from 3:15-4pm (new time for 2016-17)
  • Transportation is available
  • Directed by Sherilyn Burgdorf & Jason Chalupnik
  • Zion Kids’ Place childcare is available
