Zion uses personal information you provide  for purposes of ministry and providing member services. 

Zion maintains several email newsletter subscription lists.  Zion also sends occasional one-time email information about special events or urgent updates to those that we determine are likely to be most interested in that particular information based on  your interests, situation, or demographics.  You can be removed from any or all of these lists at any time by following the instructions at the bottom of the email or by contacting Angela in the church office.

If you provide information on any type of web form such as an event registration, we will use that information for the the purposes it was originally provided.  We may also use the information to help us improve the content and functionality of our web sites, to better understand the needs and interests of the people and organizations that use our web site, and to improve our programs and services. Zion may use this information to update any existing membership records or mailing lists or to contact you in the future to tell you about organizations, programs, services, and other things we believe will be of interest to you or to ask for your support.

For your convenience forms are available on this website to enable you to request specific services. Personal data collected online via these forms is intended to be combined with information you may have provided to us through other sources such as new member registration, pew pads, ministry interest surveys and event registration and added to your existing records if any or prompt the creation of a new record if necessary.

Zion will not share the personal information you provide to us with anyone other than agents who act for or on behalf of us (such as member volunteers, or technical support providers) and organizations who work in cooperation with us on specific projects. In addition, there may be some other, limited circumstances in which Zion Lutheran Church may share or transfer the personal information in its databases, for example, to comply with a legal requirement, for the administration of justice, to protect your vital interests, to protect the security or integrity of our databases or this web site, or to take precautions against legal liability.
