The children and youth of Zion are traveling…please join us in prayer!
For the completion of a successful Junior Mission Trip we ask God for safety, and God’s presence. From June 23-28 the Junior Mission Trip (grades 7-8) travel to serve the people of Duluth. We travel with a few other churches from Minnesota and Luther Crest Bible Camp. Our days are filled with service projects, bible studies, laugher, fun and exploring the great city of Duluth. We are thankful for the prayers while we are gone and upon return join us in praying that the lives and faith of the youth who attended continue to change and grow.
For the Campers heading to Camp Wapo and Ox Lake we pray for safety, openness and a life changing week. On July 5-7, 22 kids, who have completed grades 1-3, will head to Camp Wapo for Seeds Camp Weekend. Join us in praying for these kiddos, the parents who have entrusted their children to Wapo (many for the first time) and the staff who will graciously welcome these little ones. Then on July 712, 120 will spend the week playing, praying, learning, laughing, and growing in the faith while attending weeklong camp at Wapo and Ox Lake. We ask for prayers for a week of building of faith, relationships, and memories. We especially ask for prayers for the 3 high school youth who have decided to attend the Servant Leadership camp, as they enjoy their week of camp they will also be junior counselors with our younger kiddos.
For the Senior High Mission Trip participants we pray for safe travels, open minds and hearts to see what God has to show them, and weather to enjoy our days in the Rocky Mountains. On July 27-August 4, 18 youth and 4 adults will travel to Denver, CO for 4 days of service and learning then on to Sky Ranch Lutheran Camp to explore the Rocky Mountains and go white water rafting.
All of these trips/camp participants will come home as changed children of God, who we pray will be open to following God’s will in their lives. We look forward to sharing all our pictures and stories with you later this summer.
