Brad works in the shipping and receiving department of Walter G. Anderson in Medina. He enjoys deer hunting, camping with his family, fishing, watching NASCAR and dirt track racing and viewing classic cars. He is the chairman for the local Ducks Unlimited ‘Greenwing’ youth program.
Zion became Brad’s home when he and Shelly married here in 1997. They have daughters Katelynn and Isabella (8th grade) and Abigail (preschool), and attend Zion’s 8:30 worship service along with his in-laws (LeRoy and Judy ) and aunt and uncle (Barb and Alan ).
Shelly served on the Christian Education Committee (now the Children and Family Ministry Team), and got Brad involved with volunteering at Vacation Bible School and Homecoming Sunday about seven years ago.
I typically help with painting of the VBS characters, woodworking projects, or anything else they’ve asked me to do. Seeing the expressions on the kids’ faces as they look at the decorations makes it all worth the hours that go into getting it ready.
Vacation Bible School is an important ministry to Brad because it helps bring people into the church and helps children learn more about our God and the Bible.Ì
