This is the day the Lord has made! Christ is risen, and through him all creation is made new! Indeed, “God shows no partiality” (Acts 10:34): Christ’s resurrection truly brings life to everyone. We sing hymns of praise, gather around sacred words, and proclaim God’s faithfulness, power, and love. With the women at the tomb, we are astonished, elated, and grateful. We live in joy to proclaim the good news of God’s endless love.
Online service is scheduled to stream on Facebook and YouTube at 7am on Sunday, April 12 (and will be available to watch any time after that).
Audio of the message and children’s message will also be available on our podcast.
Thank you to those who donated to the Easter Garden, which was used for recording.
Drive in Worship
A drive-in worship service will be held in the parking lot at 9am and 11am.
The Minnesota Department of Health has issued guidelines for drive-in worship. Those with any symptoms of COVID-19 (cough, fever, shortness of breath, etc.) should not attend.
*** The building will not be open and restrooms will not be available, so please plan accordingly. Families will be asked to park as directed and stay in your vehicles with your windows up throughout the service. ***
You will need a radio to hear the service. Tune your radio to FM 87.9. The broadcast can only be heard in the parking lot (you will not be able to access it from home). There will be no loud speakers.
Worship bulletins will be available as you enter the parking lot, or can be accessed on a smart device or printed at home:
You must be in a vehicle to attend drive-in worship. This is one time when you cannot walk or bike to church. Do not carpool or pick up or bring anyone else who doesn’t live in your #StayHomeMN household.
You may see a drone filming this worship service. Go ahead and wave at it 🙂
Please wait to be directed to leave the parking lot after the service. All traffic will be asked to turn right onto the highway when leaving.
A blue collection barrel will also be available for depositing offerings on your way out of the drive-in services.
Ongoing information relating to COVID-19 and the impact on worship and schedules will be posted on our website, on Facebook, and emailed to those who have requested our email newsletter and/or regular updates.
