Did you know that Zion is committed to giving $4,000 each year to each of our Global Mission partners, Redeemer Lutheran Church in Minneapolis and All Kids Can Learn International in Zambia, Africa? This benevolence giving is not included in your yearly church pledge. Many Zion members are generous and give additionally to support our Global Mission partners.

One phrase I keep hearing (besides “unprecedented time”) is “How can we help?” One of the most amazing parts about being part of the Zion family is people are always wanting to help. So I want to break down for you some of the ways we know you can help right now, and thanks to those who are helping in these ways already:

Zion’s quilting group has existed for many years for the purpose of making quilts to be given to those who need them. Mission quilts made by the group were usually sent to other countries, but recently the quilts have been given to the Rotary Club of Buffalo, MN for their “Beds for Children” program and to a veterans home in Sauk Centre, MN, called Eagles’ Healing Nest.
