The Finance Committee would like to give the following information to the congregation regarding the financial condition of Zion as of the end of February. General Fund income for February was down from the corresponding month in 2020 by about $8000. However, due to the large gifts received in January, income for the year to date is still $7000 more than at this time in 2020. Expenses continue to be below budget thanks to the efforts of our staff. As we start to resume more of our activities we anticipate that we will again be spending more money. The General Fund cash on hand at the end of February was about $281,000.
The Building Fund income for February did not quite meet our mortgage payment. Again as with the General Fund, our year to date income is about $1,600 more than our expense. The Building Fund cash on hand at the end of February was about $62,000.
Thanks for your financial support of Zion’s ministries.
