Making a Big Church Smaller

Stacie & Nate have 3 girls-Alexis (9), Makayla (6), and Aubrey (4). They like to go camping and spend time with family. The Rademachers have been members of Zion for about six years.

We were looking for a place that would be good for our kids and to make them excited to go to church on a Sunday morning. We tried it out and loved it from the start. The kids were instantly sucked in!

Stacey came from a small church and was a bit intimidated by the size of Zion, so she looked for a place to get involved so she could feel more connected.

As soon as I started volunteering it became much, much smaller.

Last year Stacie co-taught preschool art, and this year she is a 4th grade teacher. She enjoys the opportunity to meet people and get to know Zion’s kids on a more personal level.

I think Sunday school is important because it is important to get the kids excited to learn about God. If they have a good experience right from the start, this will lead the way for our youth to not only be excited about being involved in Church when they get older but to also make faith an important aspect in their lives.

Stacie encourages others to consider getting involved in Sunday school as a way to get to know people at Zion.

It is also very rewarding to be part of such a fantastic program that kids absolutely love!
