In Bathrooms at Zion
You may notice something new when you walk into a bathroom at Zion. Along with the usual supplies like toilet paper, hand soap, and hand dryers, there will now also be pads and tampons available.
A donation has been made to supply the bathrooms of Zion with menstrual products for the next year. The goals of this project are to improve access to period products within the community and reduce the stigma around menstruation.
Acknowledging and providing for this need also connects to a deeper message that everybody has a place here.
