I am sad to announce that Soul Sisterhood will not be taking place at Zion this summer. Below is a letter I received from Amanda Berger, Soul Sisterhood Director.
We hope that Zion’s older girls (current 6th grade and up) will consider attending one of their off-site summer camp weeks. More info about these summer camps can be found at thesoulsisterhood.com. If you have any other questions, please contact Kirsten Kelly or Pastor Suzi Orlopp.
After much thought, I have decided to discontinue the day camp program from Soul Sisterhood. While it has been a grand adventure the past three years as I’ve been developing this program, I’ve made the difficult decision to refocus my energy on other endeavors. We will continue offer our camp experiences for 6th-12th graders, as well as our annual Summit. I am also dreaming of some other avenues of ministry for Soul Sisterhood and want to be able to focus my energy on those areas.
I wanted to let you know before we got any farther into the planning process of 2018. I want to thank you for your support and encouragement, and hope that we will be able to serve the girls in your congregation in other ways. Thank you again and God bless!
