In these days between Ascension and Pentecost, we gather with the disciples in the upper room, waiting for the Spirit to transform the church around the world. In today’s gospel Jesus prays for his followers and for their mission in his name. Amid religious, social, and economic divisions, we seek the unity that Jesus had with his Father. Made one in baptism, we go forth to live our faith in the world, eager for the unity that God intends for the whole human family.
9am Drive-in Worship
The Minnesota Department of Health has issued guidelines for drive-in worship. Those with any symptoms of COVID-19 (cough, fever, shortness of breath, etc.) should not attend.
*** The building will not be open and restrooms will not be available, so please plan accordingly. Families will be asked to park as directed and stay in your vehicles throughout the service. ***
You will need a radio to hear the service. Tune your radio to FM 87.9. The broadcast can only be heard in the parking lot (you will not be able to access it from home). There will be no loud speakers.
Worship bulletins will be available as you enter the parking lot, or can be accessed on a smart device or printed at home:
You must be in a vehicle to attend drive-in worship. This is one time when you cannot walk or bike to church. Do not carpool or pick up or bring anyone else who doesn’t live in your #StayHomeMN household.
Please wait to be directed to leave the parking lot after the service. If you choose to stay and listen to the postlude music, please let the parking lot hosts know. All traffic will be asked to turn right onto the highway when leaving (if you need to go south, turn around at the roundabout).
10am Online Worship
Online service is scheduled to stream on Facebook and YouTube at 10am on Sunday, May 24 (and will be available to watch any time after that).
Audio of the message and children’s message will also be available on our podcast.
A collection barrel will also be available for depositing offerings on your way out of the drive-in services.
Ongoing information relating to COVID-19 and the impact on worship and schedules will be posted on our website, on Facebook, and emailed to those who have requested our email newsletter and/or regular updates.
