Greetings, Zion families!
My name is Julie Johnson, and I am delighted to
have recently accepted the offer to be Zion’s Children and Family Ministry (CFM) Events Coordinator. I recently retired from
teaching elementary school for 40 years in Monticello so
I can’t think of a better way to still have fun and connect
with kids than by spending time at Zion.
My husband, Myron Yatckoske, and I are members of Resurrection Lutheran Church in Monticello. We live west of Monticello in the country with our cat and a dog. Between us, we have a total of five grown children and three (with another on the way) grandchildren. In my free time, I enjoy nature hikes, spending time with friends and family, traveling, reading, watching movies, playing handbells with wRight Ringers, and singing in the Wright County Chamber Chorus.
Through the years my family and I have been blessed to host multiple exchange students and various folks who’ve needed a place to rest their heads for a time. I’m grateful for the people God has placed in my life and look forward to meeting the wonderful people of Zion!
